At Saltwood Care Centre, we provide high-quality residential and nursing care in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment, where each resident is supported as an individual.
Set on Tanners Hill in Hythe, Kent, just a short walk from Hythe High Street and Saltwood Village, our home enjoys a wonderful setting with stunning views across the sea and surrounding Kent countryside.
With a rich history stretching back more than 100 years, Saltwood Care Centre was originally built as a convalescent home for London Transport staff. Today, the home retains that sense of heritage while offering 66 beautifully furnished single bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities, alongside comfortable and elegant communal spaces.
Residents can relax in one of our three lounges, two of which overlook the landscaped gardens and enjoy beautiful sea views or spend time outside on our terrace and in the surrounding gardens.
Our dining room provides an inviting setting in which to enjoy freshly prepared meals, while our spacious surroundings offer plenty of opportunities to socialise, relax or simply enjoy a little quiet time.
Above all, we want Saltwood to feel like home, a place where residents feel comfortable, valued and well cared for, with support tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
